Dr. Esther Perreault, a native of Massachusetts, grew up in nearby Gardner before attending Wesleyan University and graduating with an undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2000, after which she spent two years in education, working with elementary age children and teaching junior high school science. She then set off to continue her own education, completing her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Sports Studies with a concentration in Exercise Physiology Research at Springfield College in Springfield, MA where she received the Distinguished Graduate Student Award. During her graduate training she did research on exercise and oxidative stress, worked as the Graduate Associate in the Springfield College Wellness Center and became certified as a Health and Fitness Instructor from the American College of Sports Medicine. She received her Naturopathic medical training at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ, graduating with honors, followed by a preceptorship in Naturopathic cardiology in Scottsdale, AZ. She is licensed to practice Naturopathic Medicine in the state of Arizona

 

Dr. Perreault is a Naturopathic doctor with an emphasis on cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, thyroid and other endocrine disorders, metabolic disturbance, weight management, nutrition, wellness and preventive care. She believes that working with the body and focusing on the root cause of disease, while educating patients and empowering them to take control of their own health is the power of Naturopathic Medicine.
